Marblehead Police Assist 'People Stuck in Bathroom'

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 

Thursday, June 19

  • At 7:54 a.m., police assisted with a blasting detail near the intersection of Spring and Elm streets.
  • At 8:01 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity near the intersection of Humphrey Street and Rockaway Avenue.
  • At 8:53 a.m., a Richard Road resident entered the police station to report that her car was broken into overnight.
  • At 9:01 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Anchorage Lane.
  • At 10:02 a.m., police responded to an alarm on West Shore Drive.
  • At 10:36 a.m., police responded to a report of a sinkhole forming near the intersection of Hooper and Lee streets.
  • At 11:30 a.m., police responded to a shoplifting complaint at the CVS on Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 11:39 a.m., a resident entered the police station to report that their car was broken into overnight on Ida Road.
  • At 1:42 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street.
  • At 3:38 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Village Street.
  • At 6:34 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Front Street.
  • At 8:37 p.m., police responded to a downed tree branch on Wyman Road.
  • At 9:31 p.m., police responded to an outside fire on Phillips Street.
  • At 10:56 p.m., police assisted people who were stuck in a bathroom on Lighthouse Lane. The lock had to be broken to get them out.
Friday, June 20

  • At 2:36 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Lindsey Street.
