Marblehead Girls Turn Over Found Ring

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 

Wednesday, Feb. 12:
 

  • At 8:00 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Orchard Street.
  • At 8:16 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Churchill Street.
  • At 8:46 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Richard Road.
  • At 9:42 a.m., police and fire units responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a bus on Franklin Street. A bus reportedly backed into a telephone pole, but neither were damaged.
  • At 10:41 a.m., police assisted the Swampscott Police Department with checking for a possible hit-and-run driver.
  • At 1:44 p.m., four girls turned over a ring found on Atlantic Avenue. The ring was put into the property room for safe keeping.
  • At 1:46 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Washington Street.
  • At 2:20 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Prospect Street.
  • At 2:37 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Washington Street.
  • At 2:41 p.m., police and fire units responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a UPS truck near the intersection of Clifton and Atlantic avenues.
  • At 3:54 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Creesy Street.
  • At 4:02 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Tedesco Street and Leggs Hill Road.
  • At 8:36 p.m., police responded to a report of threats on Ocean Avenue.

Thursday, Feb. 13

  • At 3:14 .m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Harbor Avenue.
  • At 7:00 a.m., police conducted a residency check on Washington Street.
