Diamond Ring Reported Missing in Marblehead

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 


Monday, Feb. 3

  • At 11:17 a.m., a Roosevelt Avenue resident called police to a report getting texts from someone who was making suicidal threats.
  • At 11:24 a.m., a Washington Street resident called police to report losing a three-stone white gold diamond ring. The ring did not have any special engravings.
  • At 12:38 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Smith Street.
  • At 5:45 p.m., police responded to a possible medical overdose on Tedesco Street.
  • At 6:42 p.m., a man called police to report losing his Celtics employee ID somewhere near Village Liquors on Bessom Street.
  • At 7:24 p.m., someone in Jacksonville, Fla., called police to report being threatened by someone in town.
  • At 10:14 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious motor vehicle on Ocean Avenue.

Tuesday, Feb. 4

  • At 12:19 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Nicholson Street.
  • At 4:48 a.m., police ticketed a motorist for speeding near the intersection of Humphrey and Laurel streets.
