Motorist Reports Strange 'Vapor Cloud' on Atlantic Avenue

Monday, March 17: 

• At 8:10 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Beacon Street.
• At 8:44 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Lafayette Street.
• At 9:39 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Pilgrim Road.
• At 10:51 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Roosevelt Avenue.
• At 11:02 a.m., a Farrell Court resident entered the police station looking to get a restraining order against the Housing Authority.
• At 11:44 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Maverick Street.
• At 5:17 p.m., a resident entered the police station looking to speak to an officer.
• At 5:27 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Pleasant and Smith streets.
• At 6:27 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Waldron Court.
• At 9:33 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Arthur Avenue.
• At 9:46 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Sewall Street.

Tuesday, March 18: 

• At 6:05 a.m., a resident driving outbound on Atlantic Avenue called police to report a "strange vapor" in the middle of the street. The caller said "it was a large white vapor cloud that they had to drive way around." Officer checked the area but reported that there were "no clouds in sight."
• At 6:26 a.m., police stopped a speeder near the intersection of Humphrey and Tedesco streets.
