Superintendent Issues No Trespass Order For Marblehead Man

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 

Tuesday, May 20

  • At 7:45 a.m., a resident reported finding a wedding band on Fort Sewall Terrace.
  • At 8:42 a.m., a woman called police to report that someone stole one of her flowers overnight.
  • At 9:14 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Everett Paine Boulevard.
  • At 11:29 a.m., police responded to a complaint about an elderly driver who was operating erratically near the intersection of Smith and Pleasant streets.
  • At 11:57 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Gerald Road.
  • At 1:11 p.m., police responded to a scamming attempt on Pleasant Street.
  • At 3:26 p.m., police received a no trespass order from the Superintendent of Schools for Robert H. Scribner, 42, of 10 Taft St., Marblehead, who was arrested earlier this week on charges of assault and battery, kidnapping and threatening to commit a crime. "Until further notice, you are barred from entering upon any and all grounds, property, buildings and facilities of Marblehead Public Schools." Scribner reportedly worked at the high school.
  • At 3:28 p.m., a Barnard Hawkes Court resident called police to report that her daughter wouldn't return her car.
  • At 5:13 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Sewall Street.
  • At 6:18 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Prospect Street.
  • At 6:36 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Mugford and Harris streets.
  • At 6:39 p.m., a man entered the police station to report an unknown older woman who was following him around and drawing pictures of him.
  • At 9:47 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Longivew Drive.
  • At 10:15 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on State Street.
  • At 10:24 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Lighthouse Lane.
