Vehicle Vandalized on Humphrey Street

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 

Thursday, Oct. 24

  • At 7:54 a.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Commercial Street and Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 7:59 a.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on West Shore Drive.
  • At 8:32 a.m., a man entered the police station to talk about a crossing guard near the intersection of Pond and Green streets who "acts like a nut."
  • At 8:45 a.m., police responded to a report of an 84-year-old having difficulty breathing on Cleveland Road.
  • At 11:23 a.m., a woman entered the police station to report that she is being harassed.
  • At 12:33 p.m., police responded to a report of a 15-year-old boy with a concussion on Atlantic Avenue. The boy was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
  • At 2:07 p.m., police responded to a report of a strange man asking questions at Marblehead High School about a guidance counselor he had in 1985.
  • At 3:37 p.m., police responded to a report of kids jumping in and out of traffic near the intersection of Pleasant Street and Mohawk Road.
  • At 6:26 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Roundys Hill Road.
  • At 11:10 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Valiant Way.

Friday, Oct. 25

  • At 1:48 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Bass Rock Lane.
  • At 2:55 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Captain's Walk Lane.
  • At 3:26 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Devereux Terrace.
  • At 7:05 a.m., police responded to a report of a vandalized vehicle on Humphrey Street. A resident called police to report that one of the windows on his vehicle was smashed out overnight.
