Police: Vehicle Registered Out of Marblehead Involved in Salem Pursuit

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 

Sunday, March 16

  • At 7:50 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Beacon Street.
  • At 10:07 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Pickwick Road.
  • At 11:43 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Bessom Street.
  • At 1:05 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Seaview Avenue.
  • At 3:39 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Gas House Lane.
  • At 7:05 p.m., police received word that the Salem Police Department was in pursuit of a vehicle that went down Highland Avenue into Lynn. Officers in Salem said they were interested in an unidentified passenger who was reportedly trying to pass a false prescription at the CVS on Essex Street in Salem. The vehicle was reportedly registered out of Marblehead.
  • At 10:48 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious pickup truck on Evans Road.
  • At 11:47 p.m., police assisted an elderly woman on Hanover Court.
