Washington Street Man Reports Past Robbery

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 

Tuesday, May 6

  • At 9:41 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Lee Street.
  • At 12:23 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Pleasant Street.
  • At 1:17 p.m., a Taft Street woman called police to report that someone recently stole a double-stroller from her front yard.
  • At 1:45 p.m., A Washington Street man called police to report that he was robbed by an unknown assailant sometime Sunday night. The man said $1,200 was missing from his house and he has a black eye, sore ribs and thinks the incident may have happened in his kitchen. The man told police he must have been knocked out and confused, which was why he didn't report the incident sooner.
  • At 3:00 p.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Creesy and Elm streets.
  • At 6:44 p.m., police responded to a report of an erratic operator on Rockaway Avenue.
  • At 7:19 p.m., a resident on Atlantic Avenue called police to report losing a gold chain.

Wednesday, May 7

  • At 2:07 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Ocean Avenue.
