Hit-and-Run Driver Reportedly Damages Marblehead Police Cruiser

Sunday, May  25

  • At 9:23 a.m., a resident entered the police station to report a parking complaint near the intersection of Lime Street and Farrell Court.
  • At 10:04 a.m., a resident called police to report that it appears as though someone tried to steal their skiff last night because "the engine was down and the throttle was on high." The caller said it appeared as though the person was unable to start the engine. The Harbormaster was notified.
  • At 11:02 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Washington Street.
  • At 11:24 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Prospect Street.
  • At 11:49 a.m., a Smith Street woman called police to report that her husband's truck was vandalized overnight.
  • At 12:05 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 12:11 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Farrell Court.
  • At 12:12 p.m., police responded to a past motor vehicle accident on Front Street.
  • At 1:27 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Farrell Court.
  • At 4:01 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Pleasant and Mohawk roads.
  • At 4:02 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Pleasant Street.
  • At 4:38 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Peach Highlands.
  • At 4:59 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Washington Street.
  • At 5:41 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Beverly Avenue.
  • At 6:22 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street.
  • At 6:41 p.m., a Marblehead police cruiser was reportedly damaged during a hit-and-run accident on Beverly Avenue while an officer was assisting with a medical emergency.
  • At 7:58 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 8:28 p.m., police responded to a report of an unwanted guest on Bessom Street.
  • At 11:31 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Beacon Street.
  • At 11:34 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Middle Street.

Monday, May 26

  • At 12:08 a.m, police responded to a report of an erratic operator on Marion Road.
  • At 1:32 a.m., police responded to a report of two drunk men kicking a soccer ball off of a building on Atlantic Avenue. The men were moved along.
