Lost Man in Early Morning Hours

The following information was submitted by the Marblehead Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, January 8

8:50 a.m., a West Shore Drive family's alarm system engaged. It was a false alarm.

9:30 a.m., a Chestnut Street resident was transported to the hospital for a possible stroke.

9:57 a.m., a vehicle was towed on Pleasant Street.

10:23 a.m., a Community Road woman with high blood pressure and who was feeling dizzy was transported to the hospital.

11:21 a.m., a 92-year-old patient on Ocean Avenue was injured in a fall and transported to the hospital.

1:08 p.m., a 97-year-old woman on Cleveland Road who was experiencing difficulty breathing was transported to the hospital.

1:51 p.m., a walk-in to the station reported a hit and run accident on Pleasant Street.

11:18 p.m., a caller reported seeing a coyote walking by Pleasant Street and Ocean Avenue.

Thursday, Jan. 9

2:42 a.m., police responded to a 911 call from a man who said he was lost and looking for a Highland Terrace address. The man was on foot and looking for the home of a friend, whom he had met online. Police located the man on Village Street. The man had an extensive criminal history including armed robbery, escape and assault and battery. There were no outstanding warrants for him. His license was suspended. His car was parked at the friend's house.
The man's friend was not answering her phone. Police gave him a ride to the Lynnway Dunkin' Donuts where he was to wait for the T to return home to Dorchester.
