Local Woman Arrested for 2nd OUI

The following information was provided by the Marblehead Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:

Friday, Sept. 28:

  • At 9:29 a.m., a set of keys were turned over to police.
  • At 9:38 a.m., police responded to a 911 call from a business on Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 10:47 a.m., a resident on Auburndale Road called police to report that a suspicious man was sitting in front of a car on their road for about an hour.
  • At 10:58 a.m., police responded to an accidental 911 call from a home on Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 11:49 a.m., a Briar Lane woman called police to report that her political signs were damaged for the second time. The woman said she returned home from mass and found them damaged in the street.
  • At 12:19 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Bayview Road.
  • At 1:10 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on High Street.
  • At 1:15 p.m., an Elm Street man entered the police station to report that a credit card had been used fraudulently at several businesses in Lynn.
  • At 2:44 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Spray Avenue.
  • At 3:06 p.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Pleasant Street involving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. 
  • At 3:10 p.m., a man called police looking for help finding his wife, who had not arrived home.
  • At 5:02 p.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Pleasant Street involving a 1999 Dodge Caravan.
  • At 5:14 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Washington Street.
  • At 8:33 p.m., a resident called police to report seeing a drunk woman come out of the Three Cod Tavern, go to Village Liquors and then drive away. Constance C. Nielson, 54, of 38 Birch St., Marblehead, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense.
  • At 8:51 p.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Pleasant Street involving a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2000 Toyota Camry.
  • At 9:04 p.m., a motorist in a 2008 Volvo C70 was ticketed on Ocean Avenue for violating the conditions of a junior operator license.
  • At 9:38 p.m., police responded to a report of fireworks on Turner Road.

Saturday, Sept. 29:

  • At 12:50 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on West Shore Drive.
  • At 3:34 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Pleasant Street.
  • At 9:40 a.m., a local officer noticed "two men outside of Starbucks Coffee collecting money for some drug fund."
  • At 10:19 a.m., local police and firefighters responded to a report of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding on Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 11:08 a.m., police responded to an accidental 911 call from a home on Cloutman's Lane.
  • At 11:44 a.m., a motorist in a 2012 Mini Cooper was ticketed for speeding near the intersection of Tedesco Street and Longview Drive.
  • At 11:45 a.m., a motorist was ticketed for committing a cross-walk violation near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Greystone Road.
  • At 12:03 p.m., a Gerald Road man entered the police station to report that his porcelain flower pot had been smashed overnight.
  • At 12:52 p.m., an Elm Street resident called police to complain about trash barrels that had been put out early.
  • At 1:37 p.m., a resident called police to report losing a wallet at Marblehead High School Friday night. 
  • At 2:47 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Franklin Street.
  • At 5:41 p.m., a resident entered the police station with a small Coach wallet found near the intersection of Elm and Creesy streets.
  • At 6:07 p.m., a Pleasant Street man called police to talk about an incident that his daughter said happened while she was walking home from school.
  • At 7:07 p.m., police received word that a recycling bin had been dumped out into a handicapped parking space on Ocean Avenue.
  • At 9:07 p.m., a resident on Homestead Road called police to report seeing two recently-stolen bikes on Humphrey Street. The bikes were later recovered.
  • At 11:26 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Community Road.

Sunday, Sept. 30:

  • At 1:50 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm at Marblehead High School and discovered a broken window. A 16-year-old juvenile was reportedly arrested for breaking and entering a building during the nighttime, and malicious destruction of property valued above $250.
  • At 9:40 a.m., a Highland Terrace resident called police to report that their 2003 Ford F150 was entered overnight and a radar detector was stolen.
  • At 12:03 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint near the intersection of Front Street and Ferry Lane.
  • At 12:36 p.m., a resident entered the police station to report that his daughter's cell phone was stolen overnight and it was now being tracked in Brockton.
  • At 8:41 p.m., police responded to a report of an intoxicated person on Pleasant Street.
