Harassment and Thievery

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 2

  • At 7:57 a.m., a runner at Village Street and Vine Street called 911 claiming to feel ill, a dizzy feeling and like he was going to pass out.
  • At 10:16 a.m., a Cornell Road resident said she came home and found her glass front door had been smashed. A rock was found near the door and the home’s landscapers had been at the property that morning. It appeared the rock may have been thrown by a mowing machine.
  • At 10:46 a.m., police received a report that a model airplane crashed near the DYC yacht club on Allerton Place. The plane is Army green and has the marking HAOC. The club will hold on to the plane until it is claimed.
  • At 11:17 a.m., a Roundhouse Road caller reported a hit and run accident.
  • At 12:18 p.m., a man reported that he left about $150 on the counter at the Fast Break store and it is now gone.
  • At 1:05 p.m., a hit and run accident was reported on Pleasant Street.
  • At 1:56 p.m., credit cards were found on the street on Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 6:36 p.m., a walk-in to the police station asked to speak to a police officer about a restraining order.

Wednesday, July 3

  • At 8:39 a.m., a walk-in to the police station reported finding a camera in the case a few days earlier on the bike path near the Village Street bridge. Photos are of historical landmarks in Salem.
  • At 10:53 a.m., a walk-in to the station reported being harassed on Washington Street.
  • At 1:08 p.m., a resident reported finding an envelope with a credit card and cash in it on Elm Street in front of Amazing Nails.
  • At 4:43 p.m., a walk-in to the station reported having $228 stolen from her car overnight on Heritage Way.
  • At 11:23 p.m., police took a man and a woman who were fighting on Pleasant Street were taken into protective custody and later released.
