Domestic Unrest and Unruly Fans

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Sept. 25

  • 8:22 a.m., a walk-in to the police station reported being harassed by the trustees of a Washington Street condo association.
  • 8:30 a.m., an orange ladder was reported to be in the roadway at Maple and Tedesco Streets. DPW will pick up the ladder.
  • 8:49 a.m., police received several calls about a male in a yellow Subaru yelling and swearing at people walking, yelling "Die, Die," at one walker.
  • 11:38 a.m., a Clifton Heights Lane man was reportedly loud and harassing a neighbor.
  • 12:31 p.m., schools were made aware of the stabbings that took place at Salem State University.
  • 2:51 p.m., a caller reported seeing a bunch of syringes in a puddle at the end of a driveway on Humphrey Street.
  • 3:32 p.m., a walk-in to the station reported a dispute over a dog. The man's ex is holding the family dog, the man reported, and he is getting harassing messages and texts which are escalating.
  • 5 p.m., Several police units responded to Guernsey Street after police received a call from a woman who said her estranged husband was acting violent towards her and her son, breaking things in the house.
  • 5:18 p.m., disruptive fans were asked to leave the Marblehead and Danvers soccer game and they complied.
  • 7:28 p.m., an Elm Street caller reported that his girlfriend's son was threatened by an adult female. She reportedly told the son that she was going to have her brother beat him up. The parties agreed to avoid each other in the future.
