Daughter Out of Control on Elm Street

Tuesday, Jan. 14

6:16 p.m., police received a report of an out-of-control daughter on Elm Street. The caller said he has tried to allow things to cool down for a couple days but the daughter is upset and can not be calmed down. The report states the daughter entered her parents' home when they were not around and removed a few of her things. Police units responded to Elm Street and remained on the scene while the daughter removed a few of her items from the residence. Police escorted her to her apartment. The daughter was warned not to enter her parents' apartment without their permission.

7:53 p.m., police and fire personnel responded to a fire on Tedesco Street. A 2005 Toyota Highlander was on fire at the former site of the General Glover restaurant located near the Swampscott and Salem lines. The owner of the vehicle called Lynn police to report the vehicle was stolen.

8:57 p.m., a loud horn was reported on Fox Run Lane. It was a car horn and the owner was away. The owner's roommate said the horn will stop soon because the battery will wear out.

11:06 p.m., an unwanted guest was reported on Green Street. The unwanted guest was transported by police to Taft Street.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

6:31 a.m., a walk-in to the police station reported the roads were icy and she just saw a car spin around. Police contacted DPW with the news of the icy conditions and the department responded that crews had been out for a while checking the roads. The temperature was now 36 degrees and the roads should be fine.

7:43 a.m., an unresponsive patient on Pickwick Road was transported to the hospital.
