Concerns Over Hang Glider Overhead

Friday, Nov. 1

  • 7:50 a.m., a Pleasant Street caller told police that she was dealing with a neighbor who is a sociopath.
  • 8:53 a.m., a caller on Tedesco Street reported that a vehicle swerved into the other lane of traffic. A crash ensued. A motorist reportedly fled the scene. Emergency medical techicians treated a patient at the scene. The vehicle of the motorist who had fled the scene was found on Paradise Road.
  • 9:13 a.m., a landscaper called and said his trailer was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle left on foot, and a woman got in the driver's seat, the landscaper reported. The passenger said she had just met the driver and only knew him as Sean.
  • 10:43 a.m., a Pickwick Road caller and said his house was egged. The caller did not want an officer to respond but he was curious to know if his house had been singled out.
  • 11:09 a.m., a Gerald Road caller reported that her house was egged the night before.
  • 1:13 p.m., a hit and run was reported on Washington Street.
  • 1:36 p.m., a Division of Children and Families investigator asked for an officer to join her during a site visit to a Summer Street location.
  • 1:58 p.m., a caller from the high school asked for an officer to stand by to protect students from Channel 7 which was set up in front of the high school. A parent said a reporter and camera man were interviewing parents at the nearby traffic light.
  • 2:15 p.m., police received a call about a sexting issue in which a student was sending snap chats.
  • 7:45 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Nonantum Road.
Saturday, Nov. 2
  • 9:44 a.m., a caller reported that a motorized glider flew over Gregory Street. The caller was concerned about security during the Boston parade and celebration.
  • 2:16 p.m., a call was relayed about a woman who had fallen and injured her face on Washington Street. 
  • 9:17 p.m., a Gerald Road home was egged.
