Boy Refuses To Go To School

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Oct. 16

  • 8:13 a.m., A Green Street grandmother called and said her grandson won't go to school. Police responded to the home for the truancy issue and followed the parent and child to school. The child attended school.
  • 8:39 a.m., a Harbor Street home's bathroom window on the Nanepashemet side was reportedly egged.
  • 3:20 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a report of choking at an Ocean Avenue address.
  • 7:41 p.m., a caller said an MBTA bus was stuck on Washingotn Street. The bus was freed.
  • 7:47 p.m., a walk-in to the police staiton reported being scammed on Medicare replacement cards.
  • 9:39 p.m., a Lime Street caller reported seeing an 18-wheeler back up and crunch a fence. It turned out the truck didn't hit a fence, it hit hanging branches.
