9/11 Ceremony at Memorial Park

Local emergency responders will mark the 11-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks with a remembrance ceremony at Memorial Park.

The and will join departments across the country in conducting a remembrance ceremony on Sept. 11 at to commemorate the eleven-year anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks and the subsequent losses suffered at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.

This ceremony, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. sharp, will be part of a nationwide salute to fallen firefighters, police officers and civilians, and to the extraordinary response to tragic events that have changed all of our lives.

The Marblehead Fire and Police Departments would like to invite local leaders and members of the community to participate in the remembrance plans as a way of providing them with the opportunity to remember the lives lost on September 11th.
