Louise was also a longtime and beloved crossing guard at the Gerry and Coffin schools in Marblehead where she became endeared to many students and their families over the years.

She was a member of the Mothers of Twins Club in Marblehead and the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. In her later years, she was one of the "Dunkin Girls" at Village Plaza where she enjoyed socializing with her friends each Saturday.
