5 Things You Need to Know Today: May 18

Today is Friday, May 18, and here are the five things you need to know:

1. It should be another beautiful day in Marblehead. The National Weather Service is predicting that local residents can expect it to be sunny, with a high near 63. Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low around 48. (sunrise, 5:18 a.m.; high tide, 10:30 a.m.; low tide, 4:20 p.m.; sunset, 8:02 p.m.)

2. The Marblehead Garden Club will host their 81st Annual Plant Sale tomorrow at Community Center on Atlantic Avenue. The event, which is free and open to the public, will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will feature wildflowers, perennials, annual, herbs, rock garden plants and ground cover plants.
