WHAT:  Sudbury Boat Care 2013 PHRF New England  is the premier New England sailing competition and one of the largest, offshore East Coast sailing event of the entire 2013 season.  More than 1200 sailors will gather to race in six or more races on three lines over the course of the three-day regatta. The Boston, Corinthian, and Boston Yacht Clubs of Marblehead offer their club amenities, race committees, and dock masters to ensure an extraordinary Marblehead sailing event. Racing yachts flying spinnakers will race Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Cruising boats will race Saturday and Sunday. This year’s regatta is sponsored by Sudbury Boat Care, Burke Insurance, AtlantisWeatherGear, Gosling Rum, West Marine, Hill & Lowden, Massachusetts Maritime Academy's Yacht & Boat Donation Program, 79th Monhegan Regatta, Design New England, Portland Yacht Club, Kingman Yacht Center, Sail Magazine, New Wave Yachts, Headway Consulting, Doyle Sailmakers, North Sails, The Landing, NSarles & Associates, and other participating sponsors.

WHEN:  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday August 23, 24 & 25. Races start at approximately 11:00AM and 2:00PM. Social events and daily prizes will be awarded from 6:00-9:00PM on each night at the Eastern Yacht Club 47 Foster Street, Marblehead. Final prizes awarded at the Eastern Yacht Club at approximately 4:00PM on Sunday, August 25. Saturday Night is the Sudbury Boat Care and Gosling Rum Party with live music of the Guy Ford Band.
