Paddle for Plummer

Paddle for Plummer will
take place on July 13, 2014 in Salem, MA.



Stand Up Paddle (SUP)
event will include Elite, Recreational and Youth races. Elites will complete a
6 mile paddle, recreational paddlers will complete a 1.5 mile paddle, and a
short course will be available for any youth paddlers 13 and under.



Additional events: Floating
yoga at 12pm and waterfront spinning from 8am-12pm (on the hour start).

The event is a fundraiser
for Plummer Home, www.plummerhome.org.
Plummer serves kids who have been bouncing around foster care for most of their
lives.  Their childhoods have been full of upheaval, uncertainty and
instability.  They need safety, stability and families that will be theirs
forever.  Plummer Home helps them find that.



There is a $25 entry fee for
youth.  Individual recreational paddlers also have an entry fee of $25
with a $100 fundraising minimum.  Families (2+) will pay a $50 entry fee
with a $200 fundraising minimum.  Elites pay a $75 entry fee with a $100
fundraising minimum.  Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers
in every category.
