Marblehead Little Theatre Presents Macbeth

Tickets are now on sale for Marblehead Little Theatre’s upcoming production of Macbeth.  The show is being directed by Chris Martel and co-produced by Cam Cronin and Susan Parker.  Set and light design by Evan Delgaudio.  Costumes by Izzy Batts.  The cast includes Andrew Winson as Macbeth; Sarah Mann as Lady Macbeth; Gale Argentine, Trudi Olivetti and Annie Seminara as the Witches; Emily Grove as Lady Macduff, Hecate, Gentlewoman and Macbeth’s Messinger; Jeffrey Snell as Duncan, Old Man, Third Murderer and Siward; Jacob Barz-Snell as Fleance, First Apparition and Young Siward; Max Sklar as Ross; Pat Dunning as Lennox; Ryan Buchannan as Donalbain, First Murderer, Menteith, Doctor and Lord; Sophie Leiton-Twoomey as Macduff’s Son, Second Apparition and Servant;  Zach Murphy as Banquo and Seyton; Alex Deroo; Adrian Peguero as Angus; and James Wechsler as Malcom and Second Murderer. There will be a reception immediately following the opening night performance on Friday August 15th. 



Macbeth was written by William Shakespeare is considered one of his darkest and most powerful works. Set in Scotland, the play dramatizes the corrosive psychological and political effects produced when evil is chosen as a way to fulfill the ambition for power.



Performances will take place at Marblehead Little Theatre, 12 School Street in Marblehead.  Performance dates and times are August 15, 16, 22 & 23 @ 8PM, August 17 & 24 @ 2PM.  Ticket prices are $23 and are available by ordering online at www.mlt.live.com or you may purchase them at the Spirit of 76 Bookstore in Marblehead.
