Marblehead Little Theatre Presents Gershwin/Porter - A Musical Revue

Marblehead Little Theatre producers Henry Dembowski and Dayle Persons announce the 6th annual summer show: Gershwin/Porter - Who Could Ask For Anything More?  The show is written and directed by Anne Lucas, with musical direction by Betty Lautner. 


Cole Porter and George Gershwin will be portrayed by talented MLT actors John Archer and Les Tarmy. The show will feature some of Cole Porter and George Gershwin’s classic songs including: Someone to Watch Over Me, I Got Rhythm, Anything Goes, Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off as well as many more of their unforgettable hits. The ensemble includes: Ron Amon, Karin Anderson, Nick Economou, Tom Edmonds, Nora Falk, Jennifer Herrey, Henry Dembowski, Betty Lautner, Anne Lucas, Mary McClory, Dayle Persons, Dave Scannell, and Julie Schoenthal.  Musical accompaniment by Dan Murphy, Charlie Vaughn and Jim Dillon.

Show dates and times are July 25, 26, 27, 31 and August 1, 2 & 3 at 7:30 pm with Sunday Matinees July 27 and August 3 at 2 pm.  The opening night performance will feature a reception with refreshments immediately following the show.  Ticket price for opening night is $33 all other performances are $23.  The July 26 performance is sponsored by the Marblehead Museum and tickets may be purchased by calling Diane Barbour at 781-631-0074.
