Pleon Yacht Club Family Information Night

The Pleon Yacht Club will host an information session for families interested in its summer sailing programs on Tuesday, January 29th, 7:00PM at the Gerry 5, 210 Beacon Street, Marblehead.

Pleon’s summer programs are open to all children who have completed third grade or higher.  The club also offers a two-week Intro-To-Pleon session for eight year olds at the end of the summer as a low-key way to introduce potential new Pleon members to the club and its offerings.  No previous sailing experience or affiliation with other clubs is required.  There will be a variety of four- and eight-week programs, including learn-to-sail, racing, and Sonar sailing options.

During the information session on January 29th, Pleon Program director Erin Pierce will give a short presentation on the programs followed by a question-and–answer session. Program Committee members, other club officers, current sailors and junior instructors will also be on hand to answer questions.
