Marblehead Community Day at the Phillips House Museum

Historic New England invites Marblehead residents to tour the distinguished 1821 residence on historic Chestnut Street in Salem, Mass. and learn about the lives of the Phillips family and their domestic staff in the early 20th century. View the collection of fine furnishings, paintings, Chinese export porcelain, ship paintings, and architectural details.


 


Free admission will be offered exclusively to Marblehead residents Sunday, February 3, 2013 for regular tours. Tours take place from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the half-hour and last approximately 45 minutes. The Phillips House is located on 34 Chestnut Street in Salem.
