Bandha means joining together, catching hold of, fettering, restraining. It refers to a posture in which certain organs or parts of the body are actively toned or contracted to increase their innate support and vitality. Prana is collected and contained. This workshop addresses the three basic tonifying bandhas that provide ongoing continuous support. Body-Mind Centering has a particular perspective on the bandhas; it's easy to experience and provides deep, core support. New and ongoing practitioners very welcome.
