Maine Earthquake Shakes the Region

An earthquake was felt all across the North Shore, and in Marblehead, on Tuesday evening.

Small tremors were felt in the Greater Boston area after a 4.5 magnitude Earthquake near Lake Arrowhead, Maine

The epicenter of the quake was about 92 miles from Boston.

Social media exploded with local readers commenting about the Earthquake, with folks saying they felt nothing at all to others reporting significant shakes.

At the Star of the Sea Parish Center at about 7:12 the building shook and there was a rumbling sound. I suspected an earthquake.

We're strong. We can rebuild. Of course, we're going to need massive amounts of Federal aid.

I thought I felt the whole house shake but my husband convinced me it was the spin cycle of the washer in the basement :)
