Five Things to Know: Slight Chance of Snow After 4 p.m.

Essential daily information at a glance, including that it will be cold, with a high of 27 and a small chance of snow after 4 p.m.

1. Weather Watch: A slight chance of snow after 4 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 27. West wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. (high tide, 6:35 a.m.; sunrise, 7:06 a.m.; low tide, 12:57 p.m.; sunset, 4:43 p.m.)

2. Make a Donation in Honor of MLK: The teens at the YMCA are gathering donations for "Birthday Wishes," an organization that provides birthday parties for homeless kids. You can drop donations off at the Y. They're looking for items like juice boxes and gift cards. Here's a full list.

3. Brother Versus Brother in the Super Bowl: Things didn't turn out well for the New England Patriots yesterday, as the Baltimore Ravens won the conference championship 28-13. That sets up a Super Bowl pitting John Harbaugh, the Raven's coach, against his younger brother Jim, who coaches the San Francisco 49ers. I don't know who will win, but Jim Harbaugh's lost-challenge freakouts make better video.
