Marblehead Maritime Festival Activities

The Marblehead Maritime Festival is weeks away. August 8 - 11, 2013

Kicking off on Thursday, August 8 with a Garden Party at the Lee Mansion, the festival is a celebration of the Maritime heritage of Marblehead.

On Friday, spend the morning kayaking, watching the classic yachts, and enjoy the 6pm lecture by famed photographer Leighton O'Connor at Abbott Hall.

Saturday is the Maritime Marketplace ~ maritime exhibits, artisan vendors and activities for all. Take part in the treasure hunt throughout town as you learn about maritime history.

On Sunday gather at Fort Sewall for the "Bags" tournament, Salty Dog parade and a historic tour of the site.
