Marblehead Chamber issues Call for Participation in 2013 Christmas Walk
October 21, 2013 – Marblehead, MA – The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce is issuing the “Call for Participation” in the 2013 Christmas Walk, taking place from December 5 – 8, 2013. This year’s Walk is inspiring new, fun, creative ideas to celebrate the holiday season by bringing the Magic of Marblehead back to town. Staying local, and keeping with a new theme of Magic of Marblehead, the Chamber and its retail group will introduce Magic the Elf, and launch a new, season long-celebration of magical moments throughout town.

The Christmas Walk, an event sponsored by the Chamber as a benefit for Chamber members, draws thousands of residents and visitors to the town, to shop, dine and explore. There is still time to get involved!

Public participation:
The Christmas Walk is generously funded by the Chamber and participating retail stores. This year has been particularly hard on retail stores, and we are seeking support from residents and other businesses to help us put on a Christmas Walk to remember. Donations of any amount are appreciated! Please send donations to the Chamber at 62 Pleasant Street.
Parade:
Plans are underway for this year’s Christmas Walk Parade to be held on Saturday, December 7. The Parade is an opportunity to showcase Marblehead and the groups that make us an amazing community. Business participation:
This year’s participation cost is $150 for a Chamber member and $150 + $275 for a non-Chamber member. Please let us know your commitment to participate by November 1 to be listed on the Christmas Walk website: www.marbleheadchristmaswalk.com
