2014 Marblehead Home Show

March 3, 2014 – Marblehead, MA – The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce announces their 17th Annual Home Show on Sat. March 22 from 10AM to 3PM and Sun. March 23rd from 11AM to 3PM at the Marblehead High School (62 Pleasant Street, Marblehead).  Free Parking, Silent Auction, Give-aways, Family Activities and exceptional Home Improvement Vendors!

The Home Show gives homeowners the opportunity to consult one-on-one with business owners and employees about their home needs in a professional and friendly environment. Whether you’re doing small home improvement jobs, remodeling, renovating or buying a new house, the Marblehead Home Show will feature a wide range of products and providers to help you with your needs.

The Marblehead Home Show is funded in large part by the generosity of our sponsors. This year’s Gold Sponsors are Gilbert & Cole and Stepstone Mortgage Company, Inc. The Silver Sponsors are Justin Epstein Masonry and Eastern Bank.

“We are thankful for our sponsors this year – Gold Sponsors: Gilbert & Cole, Stepstone Mortgage, and Silver Sponsors: Justin Epstein and Eastern Bank - who donated funds to allow us to host our 2014 Home Show at the Marblehead High School,” said Deb Payson, Executive Director of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce.  “This year’s Home Show has a special focus on family activities, and we invite the public to join us for a day of fun as you consult with top notch home improvement vendors throughout the weekend.”

The Home Show is designed to appeal to residents from around the region considering home projects – both small and large.  The Chamber is estimating more than 1,000 attendees at this year’s show which will also include entertainment, family activities, and the very popular silent auction component.

Family activities include: flower planting by Camden Painting, crafts and fun by Macaroni Kid, face painting, and KIDS HELPING KIDS - Children’s author and co-creator of Trouble The Dog, Sheila Duncan, will be at The Home Show from 11:00-1:00 Saturday and Sunday.  Duncan will read “Here’s Trouble” at noon and autograph books. Kids can write messages for other kids going through tough times on Trouble’s Doghouse, designed by Marblehead architect, Robert Zarelli.

The Community Store and Comella’s are providing delicious lunch options. Fun, food, and home improvement information for everyone.
