Trouble Becoming The Top Gift That Kids Want to Give To Other Kids

Children's Author Sheila Duncan, President of Larkin LTD., and the character she co-created Trouble The Dog were featured on MSNBC"s "Your Business" Sunday morning December 8th at 7:30AM for a special segment on "Socially Conscious Holiday Gifts."   The segment can be found at:https://www.openforum.com/videos/socially-conscious-stocking-stuffers-made-by-female-entrepreneurs/ <https://www.openforum.com/videos/socially-conscious-stocking-stuffers-made-by-female-entrepreneurs/

Since Trouble's MSNBC debut, orders have come in from kids who want to help other kids, Trouble The Dog, a keepsake toy with a big heart, is known to have a comforting effect on children experiencing trouble in their lives. Trouble plush toys are currently being utilized in school classrooms and guidance offices as a coping mechanism for kids experiencing anxiety, being bullied or just wanting to talk.

According to Tracey Hanson, author of USA Lovelist, "Trouble the Dog touches all those who hear his story. His mission is to help children work through their "troubles" and have hope.  My kiddos each have a Trouble Dog. He helps them when they are sad, angry, and just feeling yucky. There seems to be something meditative about holding him. Trouble would make a great American-made gift for any child on your list. You can even consider making a monetary donation to help support Sheila's efforts to spread hope to all children in need."

Trouble The Dog was featured on "She Knows" as one of the Top 25 brand names that help families during the holidays.  Read the full article:

"This has been an incredible month for Trouble The Dog," said Duncan. "He has been on national television alongside big brands which enables more families to learn about our mission to give kids hope. Families now understand what they can do personally to make the holidays brighter by giving a Trouble Dog hug to a child who needs it most. Many orders have come from kids who want to help other kids."

Never a dull moment for Trouble, Duncan visited The Hasbro Children's Hospital on December 11.  The visit benefited The Tomorrow Fund which provides daily financial and emotional support to children with cancer and their families.
