STONEHAM THEATRE GEARS UP FOR A BASH

Stoneham, MA April 2, 2014. A live/silent auction event to benefit Stoneham Theatre takes place this Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 6:30 pm. This year, The Bidding Bash, an annual event, will be hosted throughout the theatre, bringing its fundraising event home to the place it supports.

Five items for live bidding include a an all-inclusive trip to Las Vegas with lodging at the Monte Carlo, Delta air, and a backstage meet and greet with Blue Man Group after a performance. Other items include a wine pairing dinner for 8 in the wine cellar at Angelo’s Ristorante, trips to NYC and a Scottsdale Arizona golf getaway. Silent items range in value from $50 - $500 – priceless behind-the-scenes opportunities and even a chance to share cocktails with Stoneham Theatre’s cast of Menopause the Musical including Kathy St. George. Several local restaurants including Sam’s Bistro/Stearns & Hill Bistro, Melissa’s Main Street Bistro, Felicia’s of the North End, and Fusion Taste of Stoneham have generously partnered to donate the evening’s passed appetizers. Cash bar available.

The evening will have over $30,000 worth of prizes, and most are priced for a minimum bid of 40% of value, so there are great buys to be had while supporting the theatre.
