Dr. David W. Toth Joins Endocrinology Diabetes & Metabolism Team at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers

Dr. Toth’s new practice, an outpatient facility associated with Beverly Hospital, is located at 480 Maple St., Danvers, MA

Today, Beverly Hospital announced the addition of David W. Toth, MD, FACE, to its Endocrinology Department. Dr. Toth’s practice, Lahey Endocrinology, Danvers, is located in Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers, at 480 Maple St., in Danvers, Mass. Dr. Toth is accepting new patients and referrals as of May 1, 2014.

“David Toth is an exceptional physician, and we are delighted that he’s decided to join the Beverly Hospital endocrinology team,” said Peter H. Short, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Beverly Hospital. “He brings to us nearly 20 years of hands-on experience and is truly dedicated to the patients he works with every day.” 

Dr. Toth, who comes to Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers from Pentucket Medical Associates in Newburyport, Mass., has been practicing medicine since 1996 when he graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, N.Y. He is a board-certified endocrinologist, specializing in diabetes and metabolism. Dr. Toth completed his internal medicine residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and endocrinology fellowship at the University of Virginia, where he was recognized by The Endocrine Society for exceptional research in metabolism.  He is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of diabetes, thyroid disease, and general endocrinology.
