, a new Italian restaurant expected to open on Washington Street sometime next month, now has permission to stay open until midnight.
At their meeting at Wednesday night, the Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a request from owner Brett Yannalfo to extend the restaurant's operating hours to 12 a.m.
"I am planning on having appetizers and desserts from 10 to midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so that people will have a quiet, non-bar place to end their night," Yannalfo said in a letter.
