Comina: The World Next Door Closes

Comina, a high-end home decor store on Atlantic Avenue, has closed.

Inside, 39 Atlantic Ave. is starkly empty, bare of merchandise and just about everything else.

Gone are Comina's furniture and rugs and tables. Much of the carpet has been taken up, revealing the glue-stained concrete below.

Outside, the owner's message says thank you to customers for their years of support.

The store, whose motto is "the world next door," invites customers to visit them at their remaining six stores.

But the empty Marblehead property, at the corner of Barnard Street, and kitty-corner from the closed Fruit of the Four Seasons store, will be seeking a new tenant.

What do you think would do well there?
