Soggy Sale Weekend

Shop owners spent the majority of their weekends moving merchandise inside and out during the annual sidewalk sales.

Cool, damp temperatures and off and on rain showers meant bargain hunters had to carry an umbrella and patience as they took part in the sales.

Balloons announcing participation in the sales were concentrated on Atlantic Avenue while other shops on Pleasant Street chose to forgo the balloons for an open door and sale sign. 

Moran Studios moved their merchandise under the store's over-hang to protect it while other people ducked in and out of stores to dry off.
