Marblehead Museum Now Selling a Taste of the 18th Century

The Marblehead Museum and Historical Society is now selling a variety of historic jams on Washington Street.

Every year, the Marblehead Museum and Historical Society invites local residents to take a step back in time at the Jeremiah Lee Mansion as part of their A Taste of the 18th Century fundraiser.

And every year guests who attend to take in "a special evening of candlelight, 18th century food, drink and music" ask for seconds, thirds and then the recipe to several delicious time period spreads set out for visitors.

So, in an effort to raise money year-round, the museum has begun selling A Taste of the 18th Century jams at their location on Washington Street. The jars are appropriately decorated with a portrait of Martha Lee.
