Marblehead Bank to Host MarbleShred event

Fourth annual shredding event to run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.

The following is a press release issued by Marblehead Bank:

Marblehead Bank will host its fourth annual “MarbleShred” event, a free community shredding day for the public on Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The event will be held in the parking lot of the 21 Atlantic Avenue office of Marblehead Bank. Each person is encouraged to bring in a maximum of 2 standard or bankers size boxes. Please no cardboard, food waste, paper plates or paper towels.

We will be collecting food and/or cash for the . Anyone donating $5.00 or more to the Marblehead Food Pantry will receive a 16 oz. Double Acrylic Tumbler with Straw. We will also be collecting used eye glasses for the Lions Club, used cells phones which will provide those serving our country with prepaid phone cards and ink cartridges for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

 This event will be held rain or shine.
