July is National Ice Cream Month. To celebrate, all pooches who attend the 3rd Annual Ice Cream Social will be treated to a free all-natural frozen dog treat from Yoghund.
Terry's Ice Cream truck will be there with ice cream for people too and donate a generous perentage of all sales to the Friends of Marblehead's Animals.
Jacob the balloon kid will be making his wonderful balloon creations for part of the day.
A donation of wet kitten food or cash towards medical expenses is appreciated to support the Friends of Marblehead's Abandoned Animals. The Marblehead Animal Shelter has taken in over 20 kittens and their moms in the past few weeks and many more over this year's kitten season. Volunteers will bring over some adoptable cats/kittens in hopes of finding them good homes.
A few extra pet related items will be for sale (100% of sales go to Friends of Marblehead's Abandoned Animals).
Donations can be made at the shop now through the event.
