Kitsen Table to Reopen as Soall Bistro

The restaurant formerly known as Kitsen Table on Bessom Street will be reopening as Soall Bistro.

In addition to a revamped menu, Kitsen Table on Bessom Street will have a new name, Soall Bistro, when it reopens to customers in the coming weeks.

At a Selectmen's meeting in October, local attorney Lawrence Markell and former Kitsen Table co-manager Mia Lunt explained and apologized to the board for not giving them the requisite notice.

At the time of that meeting, Markell said Lunt was making necessary arrangements to secure all of the stock in the business, including the 60 percent share owned by Mita Snow, her former partner. Snow's resignation, Markell said, was what prompted the closure.

At a board meeting Wednesday night, Markell said he was pleased to report that all of the necessary changes have now been made. Although the name of corporation will remain Kitsen Table Inc., the business will reopen under the name "Soall Bistro."

"(Lunt) is in the process of completing her inspections. She's going to be completing her plumbing inspection and the building inspection soon," Markell said. "She expects to open again in two or three weeks."

After a brief discussion, the board unanimously approved the stock transfer and also signed off on the change of name.
