Marblehead Public Schools 2013-2014 Calendar
The first day of school for 2013-2014 is Sept. 3.
It will be here before you know it.
Here is the complete calendar, which was approved by the School Committee last February.
The first day for students will be Tuesday, Sept. 3. It will be a short first week, as classes continue Wednesday, Sept. 4 before being out again on Thursday, Sept. 5 and Friday, Sept. 6 for Rosh Hashanah.
Here are some other highlights for the 2013-2014 school year:
- Winter recess is Dec. 23 to Jan. 1, 2014
- February recess is Feb. 18-21, 2014 (Students will have that whole week off because Presidents Day is Feb. 17)
- Spring recess is April 22-25, 2014 (Like in February, students will have that whole week off because Patriots' Day is April 21.)
- The projected last day of school is June 26, 2014 (that assumes five snow days.)
