North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra Concert Postponed

Next Sunday, Same Time, Same Program

The North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra has postponed its Winter Concert, scheduled for Feb. 10, to next Sunday, Feb. 17,  3 p.m. at Swampscott High School.

"While the Town of Swampscott did an amazing job clearing the parking lot at the high school, and the DPW did an equally amazing job on the roads, the overall conditions remained just too treacherous for us to proceed as planned," said an Orchestra spokesman. "With a snow date in place, we felt the conditions warranted the postponement."

People holding tickets for today's concert will be able to use them next week.

The concert features violinist Irina Muresanu in the Dvorak violin concerto and Beethoven's historic Symphony No. 3.  Tickets are available at www.nspo.org and also will be available at the door next Sunday.
