'Frozen' to Kick Off Summer Movies at Seaside Park

Summer Movies at Seaside Park gets started on Thursday with a showing of "Frozen."

The animated movie sensation “Frozen” will be the feature as the Thursday night summer movies series opens at Seaside Park on July 24.

"Frozen" is the top-grossing animated film of all-time and has captured the fascination of many children for nearly the past year. It was an Oscar award for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year and Best Song for "Let It Go."

The movie runs 1:48.

The series until Aug. 7 and will include showings of movies rated either PG or PG-13, according to the Recreation and Parks Department. Seaside Park is on Atlantic Avenue across from the Marblehead Police Department.

“Bring the entire family and enjoy a night under the stars while watching your favorite movie stars on the big screen,” said the announcement from the Recreation Department.
