Arrival of Acro-Cats (2) Has Local Kitties All Paws and Claws
The show is in nearby Salem for a limited engagement but the Marblehead Animal Shelter kitties are in Marblehead until they find a home.
The long awaited arrival of the star-studded feline cast from the Amazing Acro-Cats (2) show has local shelter kitties in a swelter.
The Amazing Acro-Cats are performing in Salem this week.
Samantha Martin and her 13-cat performance troupe will be taking the stage at The Griffen Theatre in Salem from Wednesday, July 17 to Friday, July 19. Show times are 6:30 and 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, over at the Marblehead Animal Shelter, the kitty crew including Timmy Two Toes, Grizz, Casey, Fredo and gang of new arrivals known collectively as July Kittens are pacing their cages.
A rumor spread earlier this week that cast members from Acro Cats (2) might stop by the shelter for photos and cat chow.
Who knows, some lucky shelter cat might get to perform as an extra in the Acro Cats (2) show.

Adopt a pet from the Marblehead Animal Shelter!
All our cats are tested for FeLV and FIV, given a rabies and distemper shot, and spayed or neutered. We take care of any other medical problems as well. Dogs are brought up to date on their shots and are spayed or neutered. Any other medical problems they have are taken care of. We interview everyone wishing to adopt a pet and ask them to make out an application form for cats and dogs or for rabbits, birds and other small animals. Our reasonable fees do not cover our costs. We are open for adoptions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, on Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Saturday from noon to 6:00 pm and on Sunday from noon to 4:00 pm. Come in and pick out the best friend you will ever have.
