3. Selectmen and School Committee in a Joint Meeting Wednesday: The two panels will hold a joint session Wednesday at 8 p.m. to interview for the School Committee.

4. Selectmen to Meet With Verizon and Chamber: Wednesday's Board of Selectmen meeting agenda also includes a public hearing with Verizon on a request for a utility pole on Humphrey Street and a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce for an update on business requests. The selectmen get underway at 7:30 p.m. at Abbot Hall.

5. Fantastic Indeed: Starting Friday, Marblehead Little Theatre will present what sounds to be an enchanting drama that they first brought to the stage more than 50 years ago — The Fantasticks.
