Get the Bags to the Curb: One Day of Leaf Pickup

Finally, the snow is gone and you're raking and bagging like a maniac to clean up the yard. Don't miss the one day of spring curbside pickup in Marblehead. 

The curbside collection of leaves will take place on your regular scheduled trash and recycling days during the week of May 5.

Keep in mind: 

• No plastic bags will be collected or emptied.
• Paper bags or barrels only
• This is a leaves-only collection.Bags or barrels containing brush or other material will not be collected.  
• No limit on number of bags or barrels

"Planning in advance for this service is difficult as its timing and success depend on the cooperation of Mother Nature and weather conditions," stated the Board of Health in a press release. "Spring leaf collection is limited to only one week."
