Local Business Owners — New 'Business Update' Section Is For You

Here are your Five Things to Know Today:

2. Do You Have Questions About This Year's Fireworks?: Here's our guide to the 2013 fireworks display. The organizers' Web site also had a ton of information. This year's display is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. on Thursday.

3. Business Owners — A New, Easy Way to Deliver News About Your Business: As part of the redesign of Marblehead Patch, we launched "Boards," which make it easy to communicate bits of news or questions you may have to other residents. We have a special section just for business owners called "Business Updates" where we encourage restaurants to tell about their specials, clothing stores to let folks know of new lines you're selling, deals, etc. We hope you find it useful!

4. St. Michael's Lobster Lunch: All during the holiday — Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the church is offering special lunches of lobster rolls, chowder and more. Proceeds benefit local charities and Haiti. Runs each day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here is more information. 

5. Entrance to Peabody Essex Museum is Free on Friday: As part of the Highland Street Foundation's Free Fun Fridays program, Salem's Peabody Essex Museum will be free to all on Friday.
