Curbside Christmas Trees Interfering With Plowing

Marblehead DPW asks that residents not put out Christmas trees until after the storm is over.

Christmas trees are interfering with snow plow operations.

Marblehead DPW Assistant Director Arthur Graves asks residents to wait until after the storm before putting their Christmas trees out at the curb for collection.

If you have already put your tree out, please move it somewhere on your property.

Some trees have ended up in the road, especially in the downtown area.

This is making it difficult for plow operators to scrape the streets properly, the assistant director said.
