Muffin Shop PopUp Exhibit on Friday, Dec 6th 7-9pm

Award winning and North Shore Massachusetts artists Ruth Rooks, Patti O'Hare Williams and KT Morse are exhibiting fine art during the Marblehead Christmas Walk festivities on Friday, December 6 at the Muffin Shop, 126 Washington St, Marblehead, MA from 7-9pm. The three regional artists not only are friends and collaborators but each represent a unique approach to producing their work.

Ruth Rooks, paints landscapes and Boston's Big Dig in water media in a striking mix of realism and abstraction. Rooks illustrates a single idea to great effect in bold brush strokes with intense, inventive color. Patti O'Hare Williams is known for her jazzy, often whimsical still lifes and landscapes executed with calligraphic lines. Her watercolors and oils are nostalgic, unexpected, and offer a new view of a classic scene. KT Morse uses bold color and a soft hand in her oil paintings, capturing the delicate cast of light on a snowy New England farm or the intense chroma of a sunset over the Essex River.  She paints primarily plein air scenes from Ipswich to Maine, Cape Cod to Gloucester, looking always to describe a moment in time and place.. Each will be exhibiting favorites and recent work.

This event is one night only and is open to the public. Live music will be provided by Josh Bevins on bass and Rob Cedrone and John Hicks on acoustic guitars and vocals.
